This piece boasts a 40mm case size fashioned from Oystersteel & Rose Gold, a superlative chronometer, automatic movement with 72hr power reserve. Featuring a black dial surrounded by a black and brown ceramic 24 hour 'Rootbeer' bezel on a full retail length Oystersteel & Rose Gold Rolex Oyster bracelet with brushed finished outer links and polished finish centre links.

This particular watch comes complete with its Rolex boxes, swing tags and paperwork (warrantee card signed, manual) being originally supplied as new in 2022 and unworn since.  

CONDITION REPORT

This piece is in BRAND NEW CONDITION cosmetically, with no damage or scratching to the case or bracelet or signs of polishing since issued new. It has been tested on a specialist timegrapher machine for accuracy and is functioning/ time keeping well as expected.

MODEL & PROVENANCE 

The Rolex GMT Master II along with the Daytona, is one of the most recognisable and desirable watches in the world. The GMT Master was released by Rolex in 1954 and originally designed as a pilots’ watch. Released in 2013 the Rolex GMT Master II 116710BLNR Batman was the first GMT to feature a two colour ceramic bezel of black and blue. 
Everything about this reference was designed with longevity and robustness in mind. The ceramic bezel is highly resistant to scratches and the elements, with platinum inlays used for the timing scale to prevent wear and tarnishing over time.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

The 40 mm Oyster Perpetual case and the bracelet of this model are fashioned from Rose Gold and Rolex's proprietary 904L stainless steel, a highly corrosion-resistant grade of stainless steel and one developed by the manufacturer to deliver a higher shine surface finish.

The bidirectionally-rotatable bezel features a 24-hour graduated insert made of 'Cerachrom'. This is an ultra-hard ceramic which confers the following benefits: it is anti-corrosion, virtually scratch-proof, and its black and brown colours are unaffected by sunlight degradation.

Water Resisitance

The water resistance of this piece is 100 m (330 ft), aided by the screw-down winding crown and its 'Triplock' triple waterproofness design.

Case & Bracelet

The bracelet is Rolex's 'Oyster' design, formed of flat three-piece links and joined by a folding Oysterlock safety clasp & Easylink 5 mm comfort extension link. The inner link pieces of the bracelet are finished to a high polish, and are framed by the outer links pieces with their contrasting 'satin' finish. This combination of finishes is really very smart indeed, and is one of those more subtle design details that tends to be reserved for the higher-end models in the Rolex family.

This means that we are now very picky with the pieces we choose to offer to our clients and we only buy watches that would be fit for our own collections because why should we have a different or lower standard for our clients?

So what does this mean in practice? How high are our standards? You can now rest assured that when buying from Beat The Waitlist EVERY piece will meet the following enthusiast-level standards:

a) No Rolex newer 5 years old or newer we would ever offer for sale that we believe has been polished by machine.

b) No watch, whatever the age, brand or price point, we will ever offer for sale that we believe has been over polished or polished/refinished poorly. Our founder Vinny can't stand this and therefore just wont handle them. Over polished watches lose their premium aesthetic, look awful and are poor as long-term investments.

c)All watches 5 years old or newer will be provided as full set with original boxes and paperwork because there is no reason they should be missing at such age.

d)All watches 5 years old or newer will be provided with FULL FACTORY SIZE issued bracelets with all removed links provided in the set.

Pricing and Payment

1. The price shown is in GBP Sterling. Payment should therefore always be made in GBP currency.
