We are excited to offer the newly-released 2023 CIGA Design GOLD Gilding Blue Planet Watch in full ceramic case and bracelet with in-house automatic movement. Watch is presented as complete full set in NEW & UNWORN condition. MODEL & BRAND PROVENANCE:  The CIGA Design brand not only produces watches with Swiss or European desirability but its Blue Planet in Titanium won the GPHG Award in Geneva 2021. The unique design without conventional hands is certainly eye catching and this follow-up is gilded with 24k gold on the dial and ceramic case and bracelet structure. CIGA Design may be a young brand, but already has an impressive record that speaks for itself. In addition to the coveted GPHG Award, it has multiple Red Dot Design awards among many other international awards. THE DIAL:   Living within this almost spherical case is quite literally a world. The dial steals the show with an aluminum dome representing continents around the Indian Ocean. The relief is achieved via multiple CNC milling processes and a gilded layer of 24k gold covers a deep black representing the ocean. It’s a fancy upgrade to the prior model with silver continents and blue water. In lieu of conventional hands, time is displayed via the miniature globe rotating with a compass rose acting as an hour hand. There’s a fixed outer hour ring with a detailed scale and inner minute ring that rotates 390 degrees every hour, compensating for the hour “hand” rotating only 30 degrees every hour. This allows the hours and minutes to align with the hour pointer at all times. THE MOVEMENT:  The movement has 30 jewels, beats at 28,800vph (4Hz) and has a 40-hour power reserve. Accuracy is rated at -15/+30 seconds per day. Decorations include perlage and stripes and presents as well as comparable ETA or Sellita counterparts.  The CIGA Design Blue Planet Gilding has two straps in the box – a matching, single-link ceramic bracelet with butterfly clasp and a black fluoroelastomer rubber strap. Supplied in unworn and brand new condition with full set boxes and accessories. Please do not bid if you have no intention of buying. Payment expected after auction end as per ebay rules. As such our founder; Vinny implemented the "Fit for me, fit for you policy". This means that we are now very picky with the pieces we choose to offer to our clients and we only buy watches that would be fit for our own collections because why should we have a different or lower standard for our clients?

So what does this mean in practice? How high are our standards? You can now rest assured that when buying from Beat The Waitlist EVERY piece will meet the following enthusiast-level standards:

a) No Rolex newer 5 years old or newer we would ever offer for sale that we believe has been polished by machine.

b) No watch, whatever the age, brand or price point, we will ever offer for sale that we believe has been over polished or polished/refinished poorly. Our founder Vinny can't stand this and therefore just wont handle them. Over polished watches lose their premium aesthetic, look awful and are poor as long-term investments.

c)All watches 5 years old or newer will be provided as full set with original boxes and paperwork because there is no reason they should be missing at such age.

d)All watches 5 years old or newer will be provided with FULL FACTORY SIZE issued bracelets with all removed links provided in the set.

Pricing and Payment

1. The price shown is in GBP Sterling. Payment should therefore always be made in GBP currency.
